If you want to enjoy the single for the music, this is the one you want. Huge analogue sound oozing through. Noise free. The Warp version on clear wax sounds like a stylus on sand paper. The copy I have came in a plain black jacket with gold promo stamp on it. This is the only way I’ve seen them while I was hunting for my copy. Doesn’t seem like the TVT pressing ever came in a real Quoth art jacket.

I know I will get a lot of criticism for saying this because RDJ somehow seems one of those few untouchable artists that you cannot dare to criticize - you'll have the fanboys with the pitchforks and torches burning down your house in less time it takes for an RDJ 1000 edition sampled dogfart wax to sell out for $100 a pop:

Quoth is one of the few tracks that I actually think has a purpose. Don't get me wrong, RDJ has a ton of fine stuff, I just find him extremely overrated and overhyped . It's the Derrida of electronic music.

Not really a fan of this EP...only "Bike Pump Meets Bucket" sounds good to me

note: The UK test pressing 12" for "(Quoth)" comes in a black generic die-cut sleeve, and has a rectangular black [computer print] on white paper label affixed to Side A's white label. This label (which features the release's title as well as its track-listing) misspells track #2 as "I Keata". The correction is as appears above.

note: The US promotional-only 12" for "(Quoth)" comes in a black generic die-cut sleeve which has a gold `Lent For Promotional Use Only' stamp in its top right-hand corner (this release does not identify it as being `promotional' anywhere else, however).
