This album is dope, way better than that snoozefest Touchdown which came out a year later. It doesnt have a hit like "Angela" on it but makes up for it with a solid track list from beginning to end. Its sample city, if your into that, and a good throwback in Bobs discography! I definately recommend! Every pressing Ive ever heard sounds good, but the best Ive heard is the Japanese CBS pressing from the 70's. It's cheap and easy to find too.

Overall great album. I agree with Globe199 that this isent one of Bob James best albums though, but still worth getting a copy of.

Edited 13 years agoIt's amazing to think that the guy who would produce one of the best albums of this genre ("Touchdown") would produce this steaming pile of terribleness just a year earlier. There's really not a decent track here. The Bob James originals are derivative and dorky. The covers are just awful, especially "We're All Alone," one of the worst songs of the last 500 years. It was nauseating when Rita Coolidge did it, and it's indescribably worse as smooth jazz.
Stay away from this disaster.
