Hate to say this but the 2011 RE absolutely SMOKES this original 1992 European pressing. The RE is twice as loud and has considerably better detail and soundstage.
Maybe they just crammed too many tracks on this single disc LP?

Couldn't agree more with cozzen (previous comment).. MOFI is releasing an unltradisc one-step but I'm curious as to how they could improve on this!? A clean 'Alsdorf' original transports you to the front row of Bray Studios á la 1992. Can't speak to the 2011 Chris Bellman repress but it has rave reviews just the same.

There's no need to write about the musical quality of this beautiful unplugged.
Since I had the reissue before, I must say that the original pressing of this album is bringing the particular live performance to your living room—fantastic work by Ted Jensen. Sterling Sound rocks!
