Edited 19 years agoIn the serie of "take an acapella and put some music on it", this is certainly a classic. Released in 1990, this new version of "Tom's Diner" was in the mood of Soul II Soul's "Back To Life (However Do You Want Me)" released a year earlier. Suzanne Vega agreed to appear in a new video with DNA, and the success was instant. On this release, you get the DNA radio and extended mixes. The original acapella (released in 1987), and another instrumental version (Reprise) which sounds like a Japanese Karaoke backtrack. All that's missing is that Japanese lady on the beach with the lyrics down your screen...
