Explosive sound quality on this release! A great option versus trying to track down original U.K.’s. Ozzy’s vocals cut like a knife, sound fucking incredible! Awesome dynamics, a truly fantastic pressing.

Edited 2 years agoVintage Sabbath with excellent sound at a sane price. Not much to dislike there. It probably cost less than the shipping for me in NM condition. My Vertigo pressings cost a LOT more and they came with groove damage sold as VG+ condition. And even though you could nitpick, I would say the fidelity of this Fontana pressing is right up there without the years of abuse the original releases got. There is a bit of IGD creeping in at the last few minutes of NIB but I still found it to be a rich, satisfying listen overall. The EQ is nicely matched between the material from the two albums - steered a bit toward the brighter top end of the original UK Vertigo S/T - and the mastering job is very well done. Nice way to hear the first album even though the title track is absent here. -
good collection, for a small period of time, very good for listening to classic Ozy Osbourne compositions -
Edited one year agoIn the span of years, have found the Master Of Reality large German poster in these German Black Sabbath Attention! compilations twice. Perhaps previous owners have replaced it (to be found twice...hmm..) or some of these German Attentions! were originally filled with posters as extras or some kind of leftovers or something? -
