Mucho better than my Japanese and GP cut.
It isn't hard to recocognise-
these things are clear to all from
time to time. -

Phenomenal soundstage on this (RL) album, great vocal clarity, and fantastic bass on this pressing, a must have for any Zep Fan!
-
I compared it with my UK 2n pressing K 50014 PECKO and the result was that the US 1st RL sounded considerably better. The 2nd UK sounds good, I would say 8.5/10 but the RL sounds 9.5 or even 10/10. Listen, one day.. in a near future.. this release will be considered as a museum artifact.

Impressive sound on this 1973 pressing. Plenty of bass, great dynamic range from top to bottom, and a really robust and full bodied soundstage. My copy plays nice and clean with light surface noise throughout.
-
Wonderful pressing. Sonically, a great version. Dynamic and punchy. Surprisingly low noise floor in silent parts on my copy. Best version I've heard of this album. Recommended if you can get a VG+ or NM. I have a NM copy and don't think I'll ever rid myself of it. My go-to for Houses of the Holy.

Is this Robert Ludwig mix as good in quality as the Led Zep II version by him that is so highly regarded? I think they call it the "hot" mix, with RL in the runout code.
