Edited 9 years agoIn addition to the incredible 'Tidal Wave' (used to deadly effect by Black Moon) this is easily one of Ronnie's most enjoyable albums. Many golden moments & laced with sophisticated Jazz, deep atmosphere's & honest 70's optimism. I always got rubbed up the wrong way by Incognito's version of 'Always There', taking the 76' version by Side Effect & hamming it up for the charts :( Ronnie & William Jeffery's original version here is brilliant. Sure there's a couple of slow Jams, and a dose of fine cheese, however 'Nothing To Loose', 'Momma', 'Never Be The Same' & 'Tell Me Something Good' all harbour some brilliant musicianship. Grab one for keeps. -
