Notes
On the U.S. version of the album, "I Know" was added to replace the removed song "Sing" (the latter was on the U.K. version of the album but was removed because it was considered too "arty" for the U.S. market.) "I Know" is a baggy, danceable song and was originally one of the two A-sides (with "She's So High") on Blur's debut UK single.

Just Gazing at Their Shoes
Writing their debut Leisure Blur aspired to be shoegazing kings and painstakingly followed in the footsteps of My Bloody Valentine and early Jesus and Mary Chain of Psychocandy epoch. Graham Coxon thoroughly trampled guitar pedals gazing under his feet, trying to squeeze out maximum of fuzzy guitar noise and Damon Albarn provided vocals in plaintive, complaining voice and some keyboard background. Having some practice in sharpening irony in which he later became a master Albarn sings: "Bang goes another year in and out of one ear" but unlike this song proposed Blur came into one ear and stayed there.
