great mastering and sound quality on this pressing . almost all of queen earlier albums are good . I have not tried other pressing but this is fine for me and the price . -
This is the one to go for.
A brilliant early Queen album that is slightly underrated as their next album would be a Night at the Opera. Yet this album has Bohemian Rhapsody vibes all over and in addition to well known classics such as Now I’m Here and Killer Queen it contains lesser known gems such as Flick of the Wrist, Lilly of the Valley and In the Lap of the Gods.
Then this Japanese pressing, an early re-issue, sounds just perfect. Rich, dynamic. Better than any version of the album I have ever heard before! And on top of all this it comes with the cool Japanese extras (obi, inserts). For the prices they still go for today this is simply a bargain.
If I I could I would give it 6 stars: this album is such a highlight in my collection.
