Well it’s true that that this is not audiophile pressing, but keeps the true spirit of sophisticated low fi black metal of emperor at that period of time! The green vinyl reissue has more detailed sound, but this one sounds chaotic and majestic -
I think the sound quality is ok. It's black metal, so I don't think that it's supposed to be amazing anyways. -
Awful sounding pressing, extreme metal on vinyl is so hit or miss. Not to mention this was the 90's so it's almost guaranteed they just dumped the CD master on to an LP.
