Notes

Gatefold cover with banana sticker. Third pressing with airbrushed Emerson torso image on the back cover.

MGM Record Manufacturing Division, Bloomfield, New Jersey pressing identified by the "block-shaped 'S'" stamped in the runouts, and also by the label typesetting.

Labels for this version have a 1.25" diameter pressing ring. (An otherwise very similar version, The Velvet Underground & Nico, has a larger 2.75 pressing ring.)
- "Side 1" and "Side 2" instead of "Side A" and "Side B".
- Song credits for 'European Son' are shown as "Reed - Cale - Morrison - Tucker" instead of "L. Reed - J. Cale - S. Morrison - M. Tucker".
- "Three Prong Music. All Selections BMI" instead "All Selections Three Prong Music, Inc. BMI"

Issued with Verve company inner sleeve.

This is the version I have with an intact banana! Sound is great, couldn't be happier with it.

Original pressing sounds much better than I ed, just got one and it sounded wildly different than the one I had heard some time ago. This is closer in sound to the Half Speed Mastered version, except there is a fresher breath of air to this one. Still though, the 1985 reigns supreme

Mines in good condition but I have no jacket, if anyone has a jacket, peeled is fine, let me know!

Beautiful dynamic sound on this 1968 repress. Big and bold with wide image, excellent separation between instruments, clear clean vocals with little to no sharpness. Can only imagine what a top 1967 first press sounds like, but will be pricey, so my advice is to seek this pressing out.

Hi, could anyone tell me that it is the original inner sleeve of this version? I have a slightly strange inner sleeve with a fern leaf printed on it. Someone would be kind enough to add the photo of his (if it is certain that it is the original). Thank you
