2023 and I still enjoy “Come to Silver” feels like his darkest song.

I buying this the day it came out and nearly throwing the CD out the car window on the way home. There's just no angle from which this album is good. It sounded like the boring alternative industrial metal big at the time, Stabbing Westward, Orgy, Filter, etc., and was just horrible. He eventually would start kicking ass again, but nearly 30 years later I'm still baffled at how this album came to be.

This is def his worst album. The next one, Satan's Child was def better. I Love all Danzig era Misfits & of course All Samhain. when it comes to Danzig i will always love the first 4 albums!!! Also, Danzig 7 & Circle Of Snakes are really good as well.

If everyone hits bottom sometime or other, then this was it for Danzig. Talk about the lowest of lows. Now don't get me wrong, Glenn has put out some spectacular music in the past 40 some years, some of it is still untouched by these newer bands
claiming they are punk(like some "Green" band we all know) or says their Alternative Goth (too masny to list here!!) Glenn INVENTED what is known today as "Horror Punk". And in my opinion, no one has ever come close to making anything worthwhile like he did back in the day. I have been following , been a fan of, buyer & seller of Misfits/Samhain/Danzig music & memorabelia for 34+ yearsbnow & Glenn has influenced my life in many ways & was a major role-model for me growing up in Midwest Omaha,Nebraska as a punk rocker. Now I'm 49 & well, after hearing this album some 20 years ago, it pretty much said to me
that he was done. This album is just that headache inducing Industrial crap. And it's not even good Industrial crap. It's bad.
Bad, bad, bad, bad, bad. So very bad. This was his darkest moment(no pun intended) but as he got up , staggered a bit with
a couple more albums afterwards, he brushed himself off & as of lately, his attempts at new material is pretty decent . But then again, Blackacidevil makes everything that came before & after sound like quadruple platinum!! You know I love you Glenn.
Keep your heart, as black as the night. Evil never dies... it just changes form.
            Fiend Forever.

This is where Danzig takes a turn. He loses all the singing and bluesy influence (some of which was lost on the last album). Don't get me wrong, I love industrial, but where did Danzig go? Still some really good songs if you like the genre.
