After comparing my original 1977 US RCA LP, an original Made in the UK for Italy 1977 LP, my US RCA 1985 CD and this gold CD, the latter sounds best on my system, providing a clarity that reveals individual nuances, instead of a blurry wash of different reverbs, which is what both my LP pressings feature.
And this is much, much better than the 2017 grey-coloured vinyl LP, which gets progressively harsher as you turn up the volume.
