    Album Revolution # 2:

After the FANTASTIC "Cloud Nine", Norman Whitfield" and "The Temptations" had to COME WITH IT!!! They DID NOT DISAPPOINT with "Puzzle People"....

There are PLENTY of Classics to choose from...

It starts BLASTING out the gate with "I Can't Get Next To You", the MASSIVE #1 HIT and 1st Crown Jewel....I love the knocking on the door Vibe in the beginning...It is just a FANTASTIC way in inviting the group onto a TERRIFIC Funk track!!!! The Interplay Vocals in between the Guys are PARAMOUNT to the success of this CLASSIC T!!!!!!

Then the other MASSIVE HIT, "Don't Let The Joneses Get You Down" (2nd Crown Jewel), sending the message of STOP following the crowd...

There are certain songs that should be mentioned....

They did a GREAT job on their version of "Hey Jude" (3rd Crown Jewel), even though it has NOTHING on "The Beatles".....

The 4th Crown Jewel, "Message From A Black Man" is self explanatory...."Eddie Kendricks" handles this serious t with GUSTO!!!! Even having "Dennis Edwards" proclaiming "Black Is A Color, Just Like White"!!!!, continues the NEVER ENDING story of Race Relations!!!!!

Then there's the MASTERPIECE, the 5th Crown Jewel, "Slave", in it's 7 minute splendor..This song TRULEY highlights about the plight of Prison Life!!!!

The only problem I have with this album is that there is filler here...Sorry but "It's Your Thing" should stay with "The Isley Brothers"!!!!

Besides that hic cup thought, this is still an essential album.....
