One of my favorite albums from her but disappointed she didn’t include the Christmas song with Jay Worthy, it’s my favorite off of the album

One of the greatest albums i've ever heard and the best sounding 33rpm vinyl a have so far(it would be hard to find a better one. Tis one sounds just PERFECTLY). I've spun it so many times, and still amazed by the sound quality of it. Pure Perfection!

this album steered modern pop in a more progressive, experimental direction: 4.5/5

Lush album. Pressing is very good. Quiet, good dynamics.

Front cover artwork is cool and is inspired by Japanese packaging with the obi. I believe the text is Russian. Inner sleeve artwork is also cool original art from Claire like on the front cover.

One of my most listened to vinyl.

For those who have ABT025LP (12" Canadian Pressing) - is your Nightmusic track edited with a cut intro and outro? Mine is :(

the beautiful things about grimes is that she is completely genuine in all she does. She is herself and creates art as an extension of that. Those who call her "pretentious" or "hipster" probably just don't want to open themselves to something unfamiliar and different. You don't just listen to a grimes song I think. You can feel it to. If you want to. So let her soothing loops wash over you and feel your troubled thoughts fade. Love the strange. See you on a dark night

It takes a while to fall in love with Grimes. On repeated listening, this tiny kitty creature performing her adorable "miaows" throughout the album may be pretty annoying - but for those keen on giving it a chance, it is a rewarding little listen. While Grimes's music visions provide nothing new under the sun, it is undoubtedly one of today's examples of hipsterism bringing out some positive connotations after all.

Think of Enya on cocaine, breathing too much helium, with some synthesiser riffs as if borrowed from Durutti Column ("Genesis" synth lines remind of "Blind Elevator Girl"), all too much but never enough reverb and amorphously oblique lyrics. But then again I might be wrong. Adorable still.
