What an amazing looking and sounding record : the packaging is very cool (didn't expect an outer pocket for the record) and the vinyls look great. Ok it's nice to look good but vinyls should mainly sound even better, well these do (almost...). They sound very punchy and the live versions truly sound freaking insane (don't even know how it's possible to make live recordings be this good). My copy though revealed to be quite noisy (even more with my headset ) which breaks the holyness of this pressing. I still don't regret to have spent 70 bucks on this because I love it so much but for that cost it should be dead silent.

This package is put together very nicely with a high quality gatefold, velvety smooth booklet, and the Ghostly Orchid looks great. The album sounds terrific and better than the release from 2024. The three new tunes fit in quite nicely with the original LP tracks so probably done at the same time but were off off the initial release.

Soundstage is a massive improvement over the original pressing but quality control in the actual vinyl on the EU version is shocking at this price point. The run in grooves are all wavy on the outer edges as vinyl hasn’t properly cooled and the vinyl itself is covered in pits on all sides. Maybe I’ve just been unlucky because outside of the pressing pops, the audio mix/master is a 10/10.

This is such a high-quality package. The embossed, velvet-like slipcase is gorgeous, and the vinyl color itself is too.

In of sound quality, this sounds noticeably better than my standard splatter copy. Less surface noice, and even the soundstage sounds more full than before.

Kind of a perfect pressing!
