Some really weird stuff happens with the stereo representation towards the end of each side. Starts at Penny Lane on side 2. Makes it really hard to enjoy with headphones. Wish my headphone amp had a mono button or something because this is almost painful

For anyone curious about the sound quality, it's okay. Side 1 sounds excellent. Side 2 sounds okay until halfway through Penny Lane, after which it sounds really bad—extremely distorted and very little in the left channel. For what it's worth, my ~'71 Apple repress sounds almost identical. I guess the conventional wisdom of getting a mono or HÖR ZU copy is sound. -
On the red bag, it has a not-full circle with the number 74 in it and its in pencil... what does this mean???
