Edited 2 years agogot 2 copies of it - one is pressed perfectly fine and plays clean with all carts, the other has obvious non-fill areas throughout the a1 track resulting in farty glitches - you have to set optimal vertical tracking angle and antiskating to make it play correct.
once you get your system aligned, clean the stylus and enjoy the extreme levels of its beefy low end.

Edited 3 years agoBeside the Kettle Point EP another great example for one (of many to follow) glory moment in the release history of Rod Modell. This EP could have been released on DeepChord as well, no doubt. Psychic Attack is a timeless classic and one of my alltime favourites. -
To me, this together with DC11 marks the high point of Rod Modell's production, which really says a lot.

Err ? ... This is like a "Last rekurd evver to leave the box" kinda moment ... When first puttin the needle to "Psychic Attack" you will know why !! ... Rod is god, and the pure deep atmospheric dub vibe of this ep is the same as when you first heard your "Kraftwerk" rekurd !! ... Different is good // Tommy
