Both records are super clean, perfectly flat and sound fantastic.
    Great quality throughout.

It's unfortunate this vinyl release, like many in recent years, was needlessly stretched to a 2xLP for a higher retail markup when the material could've easily and comfortably fit onto a single disk w/o any perceptible loss in fidelity... would prefer more of a listening experience instead of one of flipping and changing records every 10 minutes. Had to settle for the digital version for this reason.

I have had two damaged copies from HMV online. I've noticed a lot of NEW vinyl have issues with sleeves and covers such as little frays where the lip of the sleeve hasn't been cut cleanly. The first copy sent had a thumb imprint where you would stick a postage stamp on a letter. This was clearly was damaged prior to shrinkwrapping. The second copy has curve of record showing clearly on the back sleeve. Little things like this ruin the whole vinyl experience (for me antway).

I have the CD. Overly loud, distorted on my JBL Bluetooth headphones at listening levels. Brickwalled? (the 24 bit album in Phillips Fidelio headphones through my PCs M-Audio D44 soundcard into my Schitt headphone amp sounds OK). I'm going to have to buy a copy of this, the reviews of the vinyl (regardless of colour) all seem like it's worth getting. Dusk and Mind Bomb sound amazing on vinyl (US versions), so a good track record.

Matt Johnson knows what's going on, nothing has changed. Eyes wide open and ears cleaned. He wrote some truth bombs on this one!!! The black vinyl pressing is velvety. See The The live if you get the chance, quality stuff.

God damn this sounds amazing - very dynamic pressing. Worth the wait.

This album and pressing are both amazing! Take note when unwrapping that the 32 page booklet’s loose between the two sides of the inner gatefold cover.

I absolutely agree. Such a pressing is very rare. Clear sound, insanely deep, rich bass, just great. The music is also absolutely great. Goes in the direction of "Soul Mining". I am absolutely thrilled.

Still in awe at the quality of this release. Bass, separation, stage presence, cleanness, completely centered, flat... Optimal has done it again. Bravo!
