Beyoncé – Cowboy Carter

This is a disappointing release. Like everyone else mentioned the album is missing a few tracks and the design is super lazy. The back covers are low quality and ugly. The gatefold is useless imo. This album had so many good pictures idk why they went with this layout. Another big problem is definitely the sound quality. The songs are quiet, but the surface noise is not. It doesn't have surface noise none stop but it still bothers me a lot. A downgrade from Renaissance. The intro of the first track is literally the camp fire edition. I'd give the sound 3 stars but the packing 0 stars.

just bought the official cowboy carter vinyl and also have this one. people are hating too much on this pressing, yes i know the songs are missing and the packaging was not beyoncé level quality, but this is one of 2 albums on colored vinyl from her. also, the audio is phenomenal and i have zero issues with my copy. i just wish we were notified of the missing songs ahead of time rather than just a quick release.

The whole (27song) album is now in an official release. She done her fans dirty. How she gonna released a half baked version of the album first?!?

It's so poor quality of vinyl for such a great album. I'm just confused because bought it on the official Beyonce website and expected that it should be perfect. But it turned out to be an expansive souvenir...

I am supposed to think white means white, without any black dust and lines. These things make annoying pops or jammed places on a record.

Not a bad album really, but I think it’s probably one of the most overrated of all time.

This limited white vinyl looks and sounds great. The 4 tracks left, like Spaghettii & Ya Ya, were a bit different comparing to the songs on this 2LP. Because of this I think the album on vinyl sounds more as a coherent whole. The backsleeve has the Snake Face on it.

Brilliantly written and executed album from Beyoncé. I’m just not a fan of country. AT ALL. Still a beautiful work of art from Beyoncé though.

Pressing/mastering is fine. Not the best, but not terrible.
Packaging is ass. It's pathetic that there's not even a track-listing of the songs to be found. And no, I'm not scanning a fucking QR code! I'm sitting down to enjoy a vinyl record, I'm not going to be looking at my cell-phone. Slapping a QR code on there defeats the whole purpose of having a physical product - shouldn't have look things up if I'm holding the actual album in my hands. Having credits would be nice too, but this package is just way too half-assed for that.

Honestly, I was so disappointed to learn that this pressing is missing tracks. However, these 4 original pressings are unique because aside from the hype sticker, “Cowboy Carter” is nowhere on the pressing. In fact, the spine of the album reads “Beyoncé Beyincé act ii” which makes it seem like this album was going to be titled Beyincé (but that’s just my speculation).

I’m hoping she’ll release another version with all tracks and the regular cover. But I do think this version is still a gem. I doubt they’ll make any more pressings of this version, so if you’re someone that loves Beyoncé & appreciates unique pieces of music, then I think this is a great addition to your collection. I certainly don’t regret buying it.

As with every other vinyl pressing of this album, tracks are missing and there’s no bonus track as d. The packaging is frankly half-assed. Incredibly disappointing release with no communication and incredibly shady webstore activity; I’ve already initiated a chargeback.

The pressing itself is quite nice, and I actually prefer how the album flows with the omission of SPAGHETII. However, I’d rather have the complete album and something with art direction befitting a Beyoncé release. Do not buy this pressing.
