Is this just the same version as the 2017/2018 version but with coloured vinyl and the extra bits?

A copy of this sold at Mr Bongos pop up at Rappcats yesterday for $8,000 cash! I didn’t look at the quality but it had to be NM for that price.

I think this may be one of those LPs that’s more in demand than rare. According to Discogs stats at least 120 own a copy. If you lived in Brazil you could probably find original copies if you knew where to look.

this original period record was sold here in Brazil this year for $ 3,500 at the Medusa Records store. impeccable was the vinyl. I saw it with my own eyes. Amazing. Really Medusa Records is a store of rarity and excellent quality. It stayed in my life story.

According to article published by UOL Brasil (link in Portuguese, below) this album was considered a dud by the record company due to poor sales at the time. In consequence many copies were recalled and recycled, resulting in its tremendous scarcity (and consequential high price) today. It took Ludacris, MF Doom and other celebrated rap producers and artists sampling it out to turn it into a highly sought after collectable worldwide.

A real hidden gem of an album. I've only heard his songs on Youtube so I'm assuming the original physical vinyl sounds 10x better.

One of my favorite albums of all time. I already owned an excellent reissue, but within seconds of listening this version I heard lots of details and depth I'd never noticed before, and this records has a lot of it. Do yourself a favor and buy this release, this is the definitive version!

Recent copy (mid-2011) of this original went on Ebay went for over US$ 5000!

But it is good, so a lossless digital is just fine for us mere mortals. ;-)
