Hi hat and cymbals sound really strange. Chris Bellman misfire. Would like to change the One-Step version once I can afford to buy it.

This sounds like poop. It's incredibly distorted in the upper end. A real mess. For a lot of people that buy this its likely Linkin Park was a big part of your young life. This was the case for me and to hear this album like this is downright offensive. Don't buy this

This pressing is kind of an enigma. It sounds both equally good and bad. I found the low end and most of the instrumentation to actually be pretty decent sounding on my system, however, the vocals and some of the high end seems to struggle from distortion and sibilance as others have mentioned.

This album is 5 stars, and one of my favorites of the 21st Century. However, the mix on this reissue is terrible. On some songs, it sounds great. On others, the high hats are unbearable and sound super unclear. It sounds better on streaming services. Disappointed, as I love this album. -

My copy has vocals sounding super distorted, I’ve never had this issue on any other record. Sucks cause I was super excited for this.

The high hats and high samples are too aggresive in the mix. Not a really enjoyable experience listening to this record.

Interesting so many people dislike this. I originally got the RSD aqua press and the chorus mixing was so bad I got rid of it. This repress fixed a lot of that in my ears so. Either I'm not as finicky or I got a better pressing? -
Have to agree with the others on the mix being shit here. It sounds muddy and when it does clear up, the highs are quite distorted. It’s a shame because the album itself one well known to be the type to be killer from to back, but the mix really does drag it down, avoid this pressing. -
Sounds fine overall, no real complaints. Sure the 2xLP version sounds superior but not by any huge amount. I honestly sold my 2xLP version and replaced it with this because having a 37 minute album across 4 sides was just annoying.
