i have had this record for over 30 years now and when i purchased it back in the mid 80s i was told it was the first pressing, i cant confirm that for sure but i kind of belive that to be true as this was not released in japan until late 1977 and by then the pistols really had stormed the uk and the buzz was huge, i have other 70s japan punk records like this and the obi strips are usually thick like this one and it seems like for a peroid from 1977 through 1978 many where released like this (FIRST PRESSINGS) if the lp sold well then there would be a reissue but to my knowledge outside the underground in japan THE PISTOLS AND THE CLASH where the only two punk bands to really break ground for a bit in japan 40 years ago, the damned, gen x, and the other bands i have original japan lps by well back then they did not sell well in japan and never got a reissue, even the first damned record did not do well in japan as in japan the fans where very hard rock and heavy metal oriented back in the 1970s through the 1990s, so my guess comparing this japan lp to my other PUNK ONLY japan lps leads me to belive this was the first pressing of never mind the bollocks in japan, BUT i cant be 100% sure on that but i feel im 99% sure
