I have this pressing, its a slight variant to the A but it sounds incredible. Like others nothing to compare to but it sounds great. She Bop hits hard.

I ittedly have not compared to other pressings. But this pressing is damn great to my ears. I am happy with my purchase

Edited one year agogreat sound quality with that lovely cyndi lauper trademark voice . never tried the new mofi version but this Japanese copy is just clean and balanced sound . get this copy if you can find , no regrets :)

Lauper's best album, sounding as fresh as yesterday. A stellar release. As for the pressing, I haven't heard others, but can't imagine how they could possibly improve on this one. Japanese records all the way, baby!

I got the blue OBI first press as unopened new Japanese pressing 1983, I'm in California. An amazingly clean and quiet pressing, great sound quality, most tracks have full bodied sound and clarity even for an 80's pop synth record. This sounded better than I expected and I will hopefully seek out other Japanese pressings of my other favorite LP's if this is any indication of their quality. I have never heard the original USA pressing so I cannot comment on any comparison, but I'm super happy with my Japanese version.
