why does Walmart have this listed as "Queen & Adam Lambert" - The Works ?? Were Freddie's vocals replaced or something?
-
Edited one year agoInitially this pressing sounded powerful with more slam than I’ve ever heard from this album . The vocals were a little contained in comparison. Then , from the end of it’s a hard life ‘ & ‘Man on the prowl ‘ terrible distortion on the high end crept in . Side 2 on Hammer to fall is also horrific .
I gave this a clean on a project vpn but it did not solve the issue . For comparison I played the HMV Ltd clear issue vinyl that comes from the same master and that had no distortion at all.
The vinyl looks fantastic and I’m not sure if this is a one off or a general pressing issue . Has anyone else experienced this ?
System - Nad 1155 pre Nad c302 power . Kef R700 speakers . Michell Gyrodec . Techno arm 2 & Dynavector 20x2 MC . Project tube box S phono pre.
