Ok Sab fans buckle up for what I'm about to tell you.
The '73 Japan Press, and the '75 repress absolutely beats the first UK
This is my favorite Sabbath album and I have 6 different pressings including 2 UK first press and the U.S. first press.
But a Sab vinyl collector told me to check out these Japan pressings, said they would make me smile.
Well more like stunned. More dynamic, More detail, The cymbals are shimmering, the bottom end huge, and the whole soundstage is just larger and there's depth now.

Edited one year agoI’ve purchased three copies of this now, and all are incorrect! I wish sellers would look closer before listing. This pressing clearly has a silver logo with flat labels, and every copy I’ve bought and received has arrived with a white logo and raised labels! So annoying!!

From this album i can't find, here on discogs, a copy without "Pacific Eye & Ear/Illustrations: Drew Struzan/Photographer: Shepard Sherbell" credit written on back, and with labels WWA' letters on the top centre of the labels in WHITE.

I was surprised at how well this release of the album was pressed. The sound quality is magnificent and the disc itself is a solid thick piece of plastic that wasn't common back then, as far as I know.

Hmmmmmm maybe I don't know ... But there been deluxe and super deluxe editions ... For every album Black Sabbath Paranoid Masters of Reality Vol 4 Sabotage Technical Ecstasy even I think a deluxe edition for Never Say Die but I'm not sure ...
BUT they're is nothing OBVIOUSLY in the vault for 1 enough material for a deluxe edition of SBS or a Super Deluxe Edition for SBS ... So is it to my conclusion that there's just the master tape for the album not even a live soundboard thing... There's enough art for a book ,,,, Find this strange... Apparently we won't see a super deluxe for Never Say Die because Rhino thinks no one will buy .... -
...to my own amusement i discovered this group again in recent years. i
bought this album fresh with 14 years and haven't heard it for three
decades! two points are making this 5th album most remarkable, like saying
goodbye to the past & hello to the future: 1) one of the most hated figures
in ambitious symphonic rock, yes-keyboarder rick wakeman, ruins as
guest-musician on one track "who are you". 2) "killing yourself to live"
predates grunge for over 15 years, sounding like a nirvana-track from
"nevermind"... (january 2006) -
how can a release in 1973 have a barcode? surely its a reissue and can someone photos of rear and labels
