So much better than the red pressing, which had a distortion in the right channel from beginning to end on Side A (and some distortion on Side B) and overall sounded so much flatter. This is the version to get and to keep. Excellent package.
Played them after a good cleaning round on the Okki Nokki. -

The track Five Years features re-recorded vocals, it is a different version from the one on the Japanese CD. Here it’s much more intense and has a bigger impact, the previously released CD version sounds like a demo compared to this one here.

Edited 2 years agoPleased with this purchase. There was a bit of debris embedded in disc 2 about an inch from the edge but didn't cause any clicking on either side. However, while both discs appeared clean, even after a wipe of anti static cleaner, the needle was dredging up a lot of dirt in the first playback. So much so that if I didn't clean the stylus between tracks, the distortion was off the scales. No doubt it'll disappear after a few play throughs, life's too short to invest in ultrasonic washers and record baths. I had the deluxe cd so it's great to add Five Years even if they did choose to sanitise the words a little.

I'd already bought the individual colours, and then this comes out. Great album but I feel quite poor now!

I got lucky perhaps but I can’t fault any aspect of this release. Looks great, sounds great and what it should have been from the start. The 1-star review on here is curious…maybe time for a turntable / stylus upgrade?

Its a great package for 25 quid. The pressings are quiet but i need to fix some edge warp, they have really crammed the booklets and vinyl in tight here. The booklets are great, having a gatefold is nice but possibly is responsible for each disc edge warping the same. Its great to have all the songs of the deluxe CD i always felt i was missing them playing the Og Lp. I dont feel theres any difference in the mastering or sound quality though dont know what the below reviewer is on about. Hell the CD is mastered the same.

Sounds much better than the Abridged version that came out a year ago…. Although the artwork confuses me… Five Years being added is a nice touch…… I suggest this one for sure

Was excited to listen to, as I have the other Future Past colors, green, red, white.. and standard CD..wanted to hear other tracks in LP…should have been released this way initially..but my copy came with 2 LP side AB red, no green LP side CD ..I’m sure I’m not the only one..5 stars still not Duran Duran’s doing..
