Love SAULT to the moon and love the psychedelic rock sounds this was evoking and I really wanted to love this too but it feels like a collection of half-baked sketches.

Killer release here by Sault yet again. Inflo continues his great run of productions.

This Sault baby has a vibe that echoes Funkadelic, ESG and the curveball of 1970 era Black Sabbath….

      THE JUNGLE FTW!

Released as part of 5 digital only albums simultaneously, this is just outstanding from the offset.
Maybe the high output pace is the secret, nothing overworked, capturing the virgin raw takes & emotion (something producers like Arthur Russell & John Cale believed in heavily).

Taking more of a heavy funk rock turn in general (check RUN! TIP) this is brilliant. Who's playing that bit distorted lead guitar? Heavy.
Then we have 'MONEY', like a modern Minor Threat! And done GOOD!

Inflo is an enigma to me, I know little about him. I know a fair bit on all collaborators, but what I know unanimously is, when bought together (I presume under this man's vision) we have something very unique & constantly new.

Another banger, will the Sault well ever dry up?!!!! Does Inflo sleep?? What's next?? I love the fact that I can't predict it.

        Keep em' peeled.
