Edited one year agoWeird... Everything about my just-purchased copy matches the photos for this pressing (e.g., hype sticker, with demos). But the matrix/runouts appear to be variants of the VMA pressing. The barcode (6 55173 30321 4) is close to this one, and the vinyl is definitely black, not ruby red. -
Great quality pressing. I love that they made it a double record, since the extra space helps avoid distortion near the end of each side, and the sides are split up in a way that makes artistic sense. Side C is a perfect side, for example. The sound is a little bright, but I don't mind--it certainly doesn't sound dull!
Edit: Now that I've listened a few more times, I'd say that I've turned it up for disc 2 almost every time. Disc 1 is definitely cut a bit hot. -

My pressing has a lot of IGD and right channel distortion. US clean x 2. Disappointing copy but haven’t heard any other complaints.

I agree with what everyone said. This is an excellent pressing that renders this l'album justice. I don't know why mine does not have a code, though. -
beautiful and clear. sounds great with my setup which has much to be desired in the speaker department. the album is also just fucking perfect -
Sounds electric, white hot cut. Amazing album which will explode out of your speakers with a good set up. Is it a bit bright? Yes, but the quality of the pressing and instantaneous power of the music overshadow any sort of slight mastering gripes. It still sounds outrageously good and crystal clear. -
Top 10 favorite album ever...slept on the original vinyl release and want going to wait any longer. Bought from merch at show in 2022.
