Edited one year agoWeird... Everything about my just-purchased copy matches the photos for this pressing (e.g., hype sticker, with demos). But the matrix/runouts appear to be variants of the VMA pressing. The barcode (6 55173 30321 4) is close to this one, and the vinyl is definitely black, not ruby red.

Great quality pressing. I love that they made it a double record, since the extra space helps avoid distortion near the end of each side, and the sides are split up in a way that makes artistic sense. Side C is a perfect side, for example. The sound is a little bright, but I don't mind--it certainly doesn't sound dull!
Edit: Now that I've listened a few more times, I'd say that I've turned it up for disc 2 almost every time. Disc 1 is definitely cut a bit hot. -

My pressing has a lot of IGD and right channel distortion. US clean x 2. Disappointing copy but haven’t heard any other complaints.

I agree with what everyone said. This is an excellent pressing that renders this l'album justice. I don't know why mine does not have a code, though.
-
beautiful and clear. sounds great with my setup which has much to be desired in the speaker department. the album is also just fucking perfect

Sounds electric, white hot cut. Amazing album which will explode out of your speakers with a good set up. Is it a bit bright? Yes, but the quality of the pressing and instantaneous power of the music overshadow any sort of slight mastering gripes. It still sounds outrageously good and crystal clear.

Top 10 favorite album ever...slept on the original vinyl release and want going to wait any longer. Bought from merch at show in 2022.
