Came here to check Will Brunner's current activity; a main- stay on the NSB scene back in the 00's, recording under many guises & gaining solid across the board.

'Gyromancer' must be his biggest hit. I'd say much more than a monster; this is a LEVIATHAN... Literally mesmerising dance- floors into a trance & having its wicked way with all. I didn't hear any jocks start a set with this; but many finished with it, or, used as a tool to change the dynamic/energy.

Not all has dated well from the NSB stable, especially since every second new electronic track released today features the 'Think' break (like its the only drum break going...), creating a forced OSB revival (old school breaks). 'Gyromancer' avoided that fate with a very snappy re-played break; its unique, well written, well produced, anthemically tuneful, deceptively simple & a complete mind f%$k.

Wicked breakbeat monster-tune that has been played by lots of DJs from various styles. Can't be assigned to one certain style, as it unites the best of Electro, Trance, Techno and Breakbeat. A good tune to start your set, or to calm the audience down a bit. An absolute classic of a breakbeat tune!
