The reworking of these hits are mostly hits not misses thank goodness. Robbie is one cheeky but talented singer. You got to love him! The production is awesome, I will have to agree with others here that record one doesn’t sound as good as record two. That said it’s not that bad it’s just peg down. Overall it is worth having in your collection. Highly recommended!

interestingly i felt the record was not too bad overall. i like how the music was orchestrated. but i do think some tracks are better than some others. I particularly liked Feel.

Record does contain most if not all of his best songs. Pretty good value.

Sound is somewhat compressed, but only the first song on side 1 is unpleasantly so. The main issue I have is the center hole on Record 1 is too large (I know, better than too small), so you have to move it around a bit to center it. I've just marked the label so I can do it quickly.

How could such terrible compression ruin such a job? The sound is terrible.
            Very disappointed!

Still have to get used to the new arrangements. Expected a lot more from the "Nederlands Philharmonisch Orkest". A bigger the life sound was expected.
The quest for us to find the meaning behind the newly orchestrated songs in line with the "new" RW. A kind of RW mk II.
At No Regrets the Orchestra and Robbie started and ended at the same time but they not necessarily played the same song in between. Or did they?

Bit of a mixed bag. Some tracks sound not so good, but some are better. For example, "Let Me Entertain You" sounds quite compressed with bass and drums not very present. "Millennium" however sounds much more alive with good bass, drums, horns, and strings. For sure this is not an audiophile recording but overall it’s OK. Good selection of Robbie's best songs. I generally like the newly orchestrated versions.
