Biggie was maybe the last great and true rapper there was, and in my opinion it all went downhill the shithole from here with the whole Hip-Hop circus when he got shot. There will never be another Biggie and i can listen to this album thousands of times without getting tired of it. Biggie was a real tight rhymer that really deserved his bling-bling. And just listen to the lyrics here.. Todays artist are just bleached lookalikes compared to this. And with the old-school sampling heavy beats, we have dotted the 'I'.
Biggie Smalls was the last true Hip-Hop giant to ever hit the mic. I never understood the competition he had with Tupac (who wasn't even close to Biggie's effort)But with Biggie.. it was all about the rhymes.. Tight rhymes!
A proper classic Hip-Hop album.
