Is it really remastered or it's just a marketing gimmick?

Hipsters wet dream ? Or a finger up to the record company?
      Somewhere in between perhaps?

The juries still out at this end.
Gets bonus points for winding up the fossils on Hoffman.

5 points for the piece, 3 for the rather poor pressing. If the surface noise manages to play on top of this, something went wrong. Also Lou, there are other people around to remaster such beauty than your R'n'R friends at Masterdisk. “No one I know has listened to it all the way through including myself”? At least the mastering engineer should live up to the challenge and give it a couple of plays. Noise ≠ bad sound.

That said, MMM is a gorgeous beast.
