Edited 4 years agoBought a bunch of trance records lately and many were a mixed bag really but this one... holy crap. I need to find more stuff that's as sinister and heavy as this one.

Edited 14 years agoThe Scot Project Remix is 1 of the best Hardtrance tracks ever made in my opinion. Great build up, spine-tingling break and explosive climax. Like only Scot can, many people would say.
Nice trivia is that the vocal is copied 1 on 1 from the accapella of B.E.T.A. Unit - Somebody, a (little bit average) Cosmic Gate production. (http://discogs.cinepelis.org/BETA-Unit-Somebody--The-Clap/release/153805) -
Edited 19 years agoIn 2001 Somebody (DJ Scot Project Remix) was hit no. 1 on the hard trance scene in Denmark. Specially when the whole track breaks down and the smashing theme blows out the speakers. Even though the track haven't been played much the last few years it can still be spinned and no doubt the crowd will freak on it.
DJ Scot Project's remix rocked the show totally so the Hangover Help mix wasn't played much.

The 'Hangover Help' mix has a pounding bass line and has a very dark melody, as though something very evil is about to happen! The breadown includes the effective use of the sample:'Somebody give a little hand clap'. This mix was favoured by DJ Mark E.G. on its release in 2001.
The 'Scot Project' mix is for the more progressive trancefloors but does pump along with its crisp production.
