This edition sounds very good. Pressing is good and wthout pops and clicks, everything sounds right. -
This is a very good sounding pressing and is a very enjoyable listening experience. Instrumentation is evenly distributed ing SRV's vocals and guitar playing. That's what is nice about this, it sounds like a band, not SRV and ing cast. Unfortunately, 'Lenny' on my copy has that dredded scrapping sound that originates from a pressing defect.

Picked up a used copy of this version recently which has a blank Epic label on side A, no track listing. The runout matches variant 3. The version sounds great, very little surface noise. -
