Edited 19 years agoThis is one of the finest compilation series around showcasing the finest Reggae from right back to the Ska days up until Dancehall. So many forgotton gems have been exposed to a wider audience today as a result of the fantastic Dynamite series & Soul Jazz Records. This first volume is simply perfect and Reggae just doesn't get any better than this. Each track is a 5 star certified classic with the majority of tracks coming from the vaults of the legendary Studio One - Jamaica's & Reggae music's most important label. If you want to start anywhere in gaining a classic historical reflection on Reggae, one of the most beautiful, radical and sweetest musical forms in the history of music, than look no further than this stupendous compilation.
