One of the records that helped define the uk garage sound during the Mid 90's.
Like a lot of Peven Everett's music, timeless , classic, and always soulful whatever genre. -

Peven Everett says he produced the entire track..Roy David stole the rights and put his name on there...https://twitter.com/peveneverett/status/867459823989907456
Anyone know more about this? -
This was always about the "Live Garage Version" !! ... Just like the first time you heard "Marvin" on Motown, kinda special :) ... Still, don't miss out on the fabulous deep house "Tamborine Dub" ... It´s bliss too :) ... And, raises a couple of eyebrows when played as a house track :) ... // Tommy

The 'Live Garage' mix seems to be the one that has stood the test of time. A genre crossing house/garage/soul record with the smoky, effortless vocals of Peven Everett defining it. RDJs production is quite unusual in that the percussion is buried deep in the background while the sub bass takes the foreground. The 2 step rhythm made this a classic in the UK garage scene back in the day.
