Beware, the final track on this edition is heavily censored.
EDIT: it turns out only some of the copies in this entry are censored and some are not. You must check matrix numbers to know.

Are all of these (partly) clean LPs? Or are there clean and dirty versions with the same cat. no.? Best, R.

This is another classic west coast hip-hop album. The DOC was ahead of his time and truly "the kid with the golden voice."

Lyrically, he was the west coast version of the great Rakim, with better production.

The album is solid with very little fast forwarding (only the interludes after you have heard them a few times).

It's unfortunate that he lost his voice in a car accident after this album, because there is no telling how far he could have gone as an artist.

Since the accident, he has had a successful career producing and writing for other artists and has been involved with many other classic west coast albums.

For those looking for a history lesson on the foundation of west coast rap, this record is a must have.
