Packaged in a reflective, holographic jacket; includes new 24-page booklet with AI images and NASA data for each track. The vinyl features two additional songs, `Dark Places (Soundscape)' and `I Am The Cosmos (42420)', plus new mixes of `Star', `Hyperspace', `See Through' and `Die Waiting'.
Etching of "rings" is a moving hologram of the word HYPERSPACE.
Etching on opposite side shows planets and stars in motion.

Great record, vinyl sounds very good, I just think the auto-tune/melodyne is unnecessary on Beck's voice, I never like it... -

The surface of side 1 has a slightly "mottled" surface that looks like the surface was overheated during pressing. Fortunately, it does not affect the sound.

I love everything about this release. The Dynamics, the pressing quality, the uniqueness of the holographic etching instead of the standard paper center... It's worth the extra money if you're into really collectible, unique stuff. I think this might be my favorite beck album too. I love the booklet too. -
Paid $52.99 for this one on RSD… no regrets. I understand the other version is cheaper, but I tend to gravitate toward the total vinyl experience; this one checks the boxes for interesting visual, collectible package release, plus the pressing is primo, IMO. Happy spinning to all! -
Does anyone know the actual MSRP on this? I saw some saying retail was as high as $60, but I wasn’t sure -
Why is this getting released so many times? Is there any difference with this recording andthe black cover one that came out at the end of 2020? -

LP sounds really nice. Clean, clear expansive sound. Nice, beefy bottom end. Excellent dynamics. Pressing is flawless. Plays dead silent. A pleasure to spin. That being said, not sure this album needed to be released again as another variant with such a high price tag when you can get one of the other versions much more affordable.
