We are in 2021. We have this.
We do not have phase3 on vinyl
Or jazz noise
Or best band
But we have this instead, Ahmed singing in front of the hologram
This band was great but to release this BEFORE phase three or the other two just shows your continuing inability to grasp
Phase three is his greatest work….the trust..hit in the head with a stick,,seemingly forever -
thank god for the jewel case CD edition! i hate digipak :P the album itself sounds gorgeous, i'd think Zappa would have imagined it for CD just the way it turned out with the digital recording and all. the Beatles songs are funny, but not the strongest part of this album.

WOW thanks for ever posted the booklet... That was fast grab it while you can... Cause sometimes you get a feeling that certain things don't remain.

Edited 3 years agoI have the (Zappa Records – ZR20036-1 ) European issue on black vinyl, it is very nicely packaged and also very well presented, the labels are quite threadbare ie bereft of details like track lists and accreditations and only shows details of which side you are listening to with a caricature of the man himself on the reverse side of each label with records labels being of a different colour (pastel pink, pastel blue, black and white).
The booklet is nicely put together but with two pages that are the same as the front and back covers, I do feel that they have missed an opportunity to offer other pictures not already used elsewhere on the album, and there is a nice purple ribbon attached to the box presumably so as to offer leverage to lift the records out of the box without damaging them.
The records themselves are of a very decent quality 180g vinyl but at present I am yet to listen to them and so I cannot offer any on the audio quality or of the production quality of this product at this moment, but on visual examination I am happy to say that this boxed set is well worth the investment for all fans of Frank's music whether you buy to play or buy to save.
