Great pressing and packaging. This color LP sound quality is great not like most colored vinyl. Pretty quiet, flat & big sound. The only downside is came with paper sleeves, which is easy to change. Highly recommended!!

Really sounds fantastic as others have pointed out. I was worried because of the color vinyl (this is my first and only color vinyl in the collection) but really it sounds amazing. Hopefully companies are starting to realize the quality of the pellets matters more than the color and we no longer have to choose between the two!

Why are some UK sellers on here offering this Reissue for £30-40?
When other UK based shops, not on Discogs , are retailing this album at £19.
Rip-off UK Discogs sellers strike again . Oh dear!

I'm surprised the hair shirt brigade aren't up in arms about this reissue being reformatted to combine the two parts of "Swegbe & Pako".
-
Fantastic reissue. I've been lucky enough to own an original and this matches it. It's got the groove and warmth. Perfect pressing too.

My copy was as close to perfect as an RSD release can be, really: dead silent and perfectly flat.
However - there was a couple of very minor hairline scratches from the crappy sleeve that luckily are entirely inaudible and can only be seen under certain conditions.
Otherwise - the mastering and pressing is excellent. 👍 -
No real complaints, sounds and looks great with no significant flaws on my copy. Only gripe is should have used a polylined inner sleeve but otherwise i’m delighted!

Fun to have, and the mastering is quite good, but the vinyl itself has a very high noise floor. Luckily, Africa 70 was a pretty loud group, but during the Tony Allen drum solos and places where the band drops out, you can really hear the noise if you have decent cart/stylus. Patterned color vinyl may look cool but I would have preferred a plain black vinyl pressing.
