One of the best sounding hip-hop records I own. Silent between songs, flat record, excellent sound quality in the mids and highs. Bass is meh just like de the cd version. -

Although having the entire album on one LP made me skeptical, the quality is extremely crisp. Cover art is great and very detailed.

Classic album. Pressing sounds fantastic considering it’s all on one record instead of being spread out over two. However, I didn’t realize this was the same album, but with an alternate cover. Legit thought it was a remix album featuring samples from the 80s. My fault for not looking into that. Ended up giving this copy to a friend since I already owned the original. -
This is the same Half-Speed Remasters found on '64 and '74 with the extra stuff cut out. I wish Madlib would have remixed these albums to correspond with the music of the era ('64 Jazz, '74 Funk&Soul, '84 New Wave/Electro) to at least make them a bit more unique past the cover art. -
The detail on this release is so nice. Everything from the design of the jacket down to the fact that the back has 1984 as its copyright year, this is a great pressing (sounds great too!) -

My copy cuts off about 10 seconds of the song "High" from the original album, which is unfortunate. This may be a slight remix, because i swear there are different lyrics Danny Brown raps in "High" later on in the song. Still a masterpiece, and the '84 cover is amazing. Great RSD collectors item.
