Bought brand new sealed from an independent seller for 50 CAD. Both records are mostly flat but not perfectly centered. Pressing is great and almost dead silent (except for some tics at the very end of A3, where the grooves are significantly tighter). Mixing sounds clear and pretty well balanced, with accurate timbres and no trace of distortion nor compression. Soundstage is great with pretty good separation. This one is a no brainer to me. 4.85 / 5

Anybody else have distortion in the right channel of “A Punch Up at a Wedding”? Thinking a new cart may be in order..

The clarity and instrument separation is amazing. Definitely benefits from the 45 RPM press across 2 discs. The soundstage is not huge and wide but it still has good depth.
Bass sounds sublime. Drums, guitars and the soundscapes don’t roar out of my speakers like my OK Computer (NODATA - Parlophone), In Rainbows (45 RPM) and The Bends (Parlophone pressing), but it still sounds good unlike modern uber compressed records. Vocal sits in the mix really well.
The arrangements in the record is genius level! One of my all time favourites.

MILES better than the 2016 capitol release. That ish was unlistenable; sounded like it had been dubbed over to a blank cassette, then pressed to uneven vinyl with rough edges and off-center stickers.
I know there's some confusion as to which release sounds the best, who pressed what when, etc, but if you can get your hands on this 2021 re-issue, you're on the true path. -
Sounds amazing, but with some off-center sides. Side A was most noticeably pressed off-center but a strategic enlargement of the spindle hole has it spinning centered.

I had a Capitol version, and a 2016 version (which had a lot of surface noise, including on the final two tracks which ruined it for me).
This is a great pressing, imo. Best to my ears. -
Got this nice 2021 made in CZ Republic reissue today new and sealed. Opened up to find 3 perfect sides, but Side A has an obvious scratch across the better part of first two tracks. The scratch produces an audible tic repeatedly, so not a hairline scuff. Although I am disappointed, the sound is otherwise great, and I do not have the patience or extra cash to play the "get me a perfect sealed copy" lottery. Oh well, they don't make them like they used to, I guess.

Sounds absolutely fantastic, absolutely shines on vinyl. Very dynamic mix, and sounds great to boot with no static and little sibilance. In particular, the bass on The Gloaming is super intense. A must-buy
