VMP is gone, being liquidated. If you didn't get this at the regular price of like $40-$50 you're gonna be paying a pretty penny to get it now.

A better name for this album would be “So Much Fire”. I’ve been a fan of thug since “Stoner” but was never crazy about his full albums like most people are. The only exception is his “Rich Gang: Tha Tour Part 1” mixtape with Rich Homie Quan. That project is easily one of my favorite mixtapes of all time.
I originally mainly checked this album out after hearing it was executive produced by J Cole and was curious as to what the outcome would be. Long story short…this is Young Thugs best work. Everything from the flows, the lyrics, the features, all come together to make an almost perfect album.
The name fits perfectly because no matter what mood you’re in, this album has something to improve it. The perfect blend of absolute bangers, lines that will literally make you laugh out loud, and even moments that will make the brokest man feel like he hit the lottery. Most rappers flex in ways that alienate or even antagonize people who work 9-5 day jobs and just make enough to survive, but something about this album doesn’t cross that line. If anything you feel like you can be just as successful as Thug can no matter the field you’re in. “Inspiring” isn’t a word that’s used a lot to describe modern “trap” music but Thug makes you feel apart of the game, not just someone watching from the nosebleeds.
Needless to say, this is definitely one of my personal favorites and I think even if you don’t like it as much as I do…I know for sure there’s something on this project for everyone.
The pressing itself is above average for general retail releases but on par with most Vinyl Me Please releases. The only thing that would make it perfect is if it was a 3LP set featuring the deluxe edition tracks.
Music rating: 10/10 (the deluxe edition is just a masterpiece of a record. Thug raps like the rent was due and we can assume the bill was paid in full).
Pressing rating: 9/10 (a deluxe edition is desperately needed and the only thing holding this from being a perfect press).
A must-have for any young thug fan. -

My side two was a little staticky during “Surf,” one of my top favorites from the album! Other than that flawless listen! This album is incredible, and is probably the last glimmer of where this generation hip-hop was headed before the pandemic.

Echoing everyone else here, this pressing is perfection. Sounds as great as it looks, no hint of a skip, scratch or crackle at any point.

managed to pick up a copy of this for face value on ebay. such a stunning pressing, everything about this release has been done so well. big well done to VMP and Thugger on this release. now i just need to find copies of Jeffrey, Beautiful Thugger Girls and Barter 6 that aren't criminally priced haha

This thing bumps hard and is literally “so much fun”, it’s not false advertising. Get it, bang it and know that you’re living right.
