this was actually one of my favorite metal records in 1983, this band was so raw when i bought this great classic lp, there is not a damn bad song on here and if you like the nwobhm sound it does not get more british then this and metal 100%, the production is a bit raw and cheap on this recording and that is what makes this even better, this came out in the spring of 1983 on the ebony hm label in the uk and i had my copy by summer 83 as an import, i know these guys did not get sighned to ebony until 1982 and it took a few months to get this great record out but maybe it was a tad late to be a nwobhm band but regardless i love all 3 records this band did, i even still now 30 years later have there logo painted on my old vintage denim jacket along with saxon, tank, angelwitch, more and many other nwobhm bands ( yeah one of those buttons and patches jackets) great record this was and a sadly very underrated band.................... the dawn surrendered killer ballad as well as the powerful title track....
