This sucks. Pressing is fantastic, but numerous skips on both sides of the first record. Nearly every track has a skip. Side D is also completely screwed up with numerous, frequent skips.
-
Just gonna echo the other comments, sounds absolutely fantastic! No skips on my copy, fortunately. Now to wait until October for Tiny Houses' vinyl release (barring any delays like what happened to this).

My copy sounds pretty great overall, except for A side, which had numerous skips during "Acting". Aprt from that, the package looks and feel great, plus the translucent purple looks stunning under light.

The sound of this pressing is fantastic, just like V:D:C. Unfortunately on my copy, the side A is so heavily dished you can use it as a plate to eat from ;) But a periphery ring clamp takes care of it, so no major harm here. What's important, it sounds amazing.

Edited 4 years agoWhile I'm elated to finally own a copy of this on vinyl, this pressing is...mediocre at best, and that's being gentle. The most befuddling part, as touched on by some of the other reviews here, is it's not remotely warped nor dirty. I'll give this a deeper clean and revisit, but compared to V:D:C this is a pretty sizeable disappointment, especially considering I dropped $40USD on my copy from Darla in August of 2020.

Paid for my copy of this record on 15/08/2020 and I just received my tracking number a few days ago lol
-
Not sure if anyone else had this, but my package also contained a bunch of wrinkled up pages of a magazine. Says the magazine is Elle Decor. It was in the box from USPS, not the actual record itself. Still, kind of just curious why that was in there. Anyone else have this or was this just USPS putting trash in my box?
-
I'm still waiting for mine to ship, my order number is in the 7100s. Anyone who has received their pre-order, what is your order number roughly?
-
I also have quite a few skips right off the bat on the A-side that thankfully disappear by halfway through Air Supply. The weird thing is that it's not even warped beyond the tiny amount I generally expect from the average record. Sitting at eye level with the platter my stylus isn't even jumping or anything. I even turned my tracking weight up a bit and it still happens at the beginning there. Bummer.
