Awful jamaican pressing quality. My copy is EX, but has lots of hiss and minor noise here and there.

But music, yes indeed, is amazing! Spiritual holy gem. No filler!

Compare to 1st mix, 2nd mix is more Perry-ish. Both mixes are done by Lee "Scratch" Perry, so both are 'AUTHENTIC'. I just wonder the reason why he did 2nd mix. Did he want upgrade or something?

I have this issue with KLP005 A CONGOS & KLP005 B SCIENTIST matrix numbers, only my copy has blue Black Art labels not listed anywhere as far as I can see.

hard to say 1st press 4049 is much "better"mix.....i have all and compared 4049 mint with near mint klp005 green labels
its both incredible..the 2nd Press is more pushing bass, more crisp mix, more upfront
the 4049 is dryer ,darker ,more damped dense mix....i like both extremly much and play both since decades...the 2nd mix lp is clearly more present and all voices sure ,which makes it hard to miss
