"Imprint" strikes instantly, but after some time you realize "Trace" is quite fast paced so it can be used as 4 am dj tool connecting a dancefloor techno music with more abstract/ambient material..
"always inside the dj bag" type of 12". -
Side A: "Trace" is nice. It is both relaxing and meditative.
Side B: "Imprint" this is on a defining level that serves as the blueprint for all dub techno. For real, this is one of the most mesmerizing Dub Tech tracks that enables mental stretches of light years in rhythmic stride.
Every dub techno track since, borrows a pinch of what constitutes this amazing work of sonic art.
