Edited 2 years agoI don't have another version to compare this to, but I'm quite satisfied with this copy, much better than my memory of the CD copy, nice clarity around the instruments and drums are excellent - also this version is mastered by Chris Bellman
For those curious, I play this through a Dual 1219 with Stanton 680ee cartridge with fine line stylus into tube phone stage, Yamaha A-S701 amp and Klipsch KG 5.2 speakers -
Edited 2 years agoDefinitely satisfied. Don’t have any other pressings for comparison, but I can’t imagine a different one would sound much better. This is one of those albums I wish had been engineered better.
