Bicep follow their winning formula. Simple but instantly captivating 2-step beats provide a solid foundation. The essence is made of nostalgic chord progressions, piercing, razor sharp arpeggios. On top of that - looped and chopped ethnic vocals. Fans of the "Ghost In the Shell" soundtrack will be absolutely delighted with "Rever" (featuring Julia Kent).
As for the vinyl release - go for the triple LP version. The bonus 12" contains the strongest - in my opinion - track of the set. It is E1 - Siena. In 2021 I had this on repeat for at least a month and I keep going back. This track, as well as the rest of the album, demonstrates something I like to call "energetic melancholy".

Disc 3 warped.
I have had the misfortune of 2 copies of this 3LP Deluxe edition (first one returned & exchanged) where Disc 3 with the bonus tracks plays with an elliptical tilt that the tone arm has a job tracking. (Disc 1 & 2 appear fine).
In no way is this a reflection of the of the artistic content (5 stars all the way otherwise!) but I would wait for a repress or go with the 2LP edition. -

Unfortunately I can’t confirm the good reviews. Awful pressing - especially the first record has on both sides noisy pressing failures. Tried two copies. I hope the black pressing is better.
